When I don’t have someone sleeping in the bunk of the motorhome, the ladder simply becomes a hanger for my raincoat on days when the weather is rainy. And since I seldom need to go up the ladder to grab extra blankets or pillows stored up there, the ladder space makes a perfect spot to add a pocket organizer.
It is great for storing things that need to be grabbed quickly that you don’t want to have to be going through a drawer every time you need it. So far, it holds random remotes (seriously, who would have known an RV has so many remotes!), tissues, hand sanitizer, a bag that holds cables and charger cords, and my spare set of keys.
I also love the clear panels on the front of each pocket, because you know they will end up filling up with random RV stuff, so the windows make it easier to see what is in each pocket.
This organizer is also great because the back of the RV seats do not have any built in pockets on the back and because they swivel to face the main part of the RV, you cannot add your own seat organizers to the back (since they won’t fit past the side wall when you swivel to the back).
This one is the beige color, which matches the inside of the RV, although I also got a nice turquoise one that hangs on the bathroom door too. I might end up swapping them if I want the touch of color to keep everything from being “too beige”, but I am waiting on some sofa pillows to arrive to see if the turquoise colors match or not.
It comes with hooks that go over the door, so they fit the rung of the ladder nicely. But when I travel longer distances, I will probably zip strip it to the ladder to keep it on securely, since I won’t access the bunk area often, or I can stand on the RV sofa to reach into that area too.
