Garbage cans take up valuable space inside your small kitchen cupboard in your RV under the sink, yet you can’t just leave it on the floor because it will get in the way and become a moving hazard while the RV is in transit.
I love this one in particular because it has some structure to it, so even if the garbage is half full, you do not need to worry about the bag flopping around while you are driving around corners. And you can even put items with some weight in it, since you don’t need to worry about it breaking through the bottom of the bag since there is support.
- OVER THE DOOR ORGANIZER –The iDesign Axis Steel over door organizer...
If you simply reuse plastic grocery or shopping bags for your RV garbage, since the bags are smaller, this solution might be perfect. It also goes over the cabinet door, so you can hang it off the inside of the door and not use up valuable space on the bottom of the cabinet, but it is specifically designed for using grocery bags for the garbage.
The only issue with using plastic grocery bags is the potential for leaks, but I know some will double up bags as a preventative measure against leaks.
- Hang on the kitchen door, cabinet door, pantry door, or anywhere else....
For a budget option, you can use one like this. But I wouldn’t recommend leaving any garbage in it at all when your RV is on the go, “just in case” due to the lack of structure. But it would be fine to use while stationary or in a bathroom if you only put lightweight items like tissues or q-tips in it.
- HANG ANYWHERE:It applies to a lot of places, can be hung on the door,...
You can go with the traditional garbage can route, but when space is of the essence in an RV, I love these solutions because it uses space that would otherwise go unused. Then you can use the bottom space in the cabinet under the sink to add shelves for additional storage of things like cleaners and supplies of garbage bags.
