RV space is a total premium, especially when it comes to packing clothes. But so many RVs aren’t designed very well when it comes to being able to actually organize clothes!
I started using packing cubes a year or two ago when I saw someone post on Twitter about how fabulously organized their carry on was, when they were using all cubes to pack it in. So of course, I thought how can this translate into better RV clothing organization?
One of my favorite things is I can organize by clothing type. I use a small cube for underwear and another for socks – but depending on you, you might be able to use one for both (and how I envy you!).
Then I organize the rest of my clothing by type and how often I wear it. One cube I have dedicated to warmer clothing for those unexpected chilly nights – it holds my long underwear, long sleeved turtleneck, wool socks (since I don’t wear them enough to want to have them take up space in my main sock one) and a wool hat – basically it is my emergency “I’m freezing cold, what is going on?” packing cube.
Because they zip up, they can be tossed in the back of a wardrobe as well, without ending up with clothes everywhere.
They come in four different colors, although personally I prefer the brighter colors so you can find it in a light challenged wardrobe in an RV. I use purple ones, but you could use different colors for different family members or even for different seasons, if you are a year round RV traveler.
And they are on sale for 63% off!
