My RV only has 3 drawers in the kitchen, and since I store a lot of food in those drawers as well, space is at a premium! I had been using a traditional cutlery tray – the same Rubbermaid style that everyone seems to use. And it takes up half that coveted space in the drawer, which is not ideal when every inch counts.
I came across this brilliant cutlery storage and it is a game saver – and a space saver too!
The utensils stack on top of each other in a way that saves a ton of space yet is still organized. You can’t see it on the photo, but there are cutlery icons so you can tell which type of cutlery is in each slot, until you memorize it and can grab what you need without thinking. It is just over 4″ wide, which is a huge difference compared to traditional cutlery trays.

If you have more that just a couple of you on the RV, there is larger size that would be perfect for larger families, while still using much less space than your old cutlery tray, of if you need to carry both disposable cutlery (when you can’t spare the water while boondocking) and stainless ones.
