If you love homemade cranberry sauce but you only have one burner in your RV, and are already using the slow cooker for cooking your turkey, you can make this homemade sauce in your slow cooker the night before, and keep it refrigerated until reheating it before serving – or serve it chilled, depending on your preference.
Homemade Cranberry Sauce in the Slow Cooker
- 1 package fresh cranberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- In slow cooker, combine fresh cranberries, sugar and water, stirring well.
- Cook on high 2 to 3 hours, or until the cranberries "pop". Serve hot or cool before serving.
